Collaborative Research Project(s)

• Carried out an In-house research work which aimed at evaluating the rutting, fatigue, low temperature, and moisture damage resistivity potential of asphalt binder nanoclay-asphalt binder composite for exploring its potential application in asphaltic mixture.   

• Leading team member for carrying out In-house research work that aimed at understanding the impact of various WMA additives and lime on the performance (rutting, fatigue, and moisture damage resistivity potential) of Polymer Modified Binder (PMB).

• Immensely contributed to CSIR-Central Road Research Institute funded project titled “Effects of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement on Rheological Properties of Asphalt Binders”. 

• Contributed towards the research project involving Inverted Pavement Test Track evaluation using Accelerated Pavement Testing Facility and some of the non-destructive evaluation approaches, sponsored by Dept. of Science and Tech., Gov. of India.

Industrial and Consultancy Project Work(s)

• Immensely contributed to one of the consultancy project titled "Dispersal at Pune Airport Lohegaon Runway Area for Ground Settlement" for Indian Air Force Force (through Garrison Engineer), Govt. of India in which structural design of concrete pavement and settlement analysis for underlying layer was required. I contributed towards the pavement design part.  

• An active team member for one of the consultancy project work titled “Alternate/Economic Pavement Design for A&D Lanes” sponsored by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) which involved providing alternative economical pavement design for A&D lane at their retail outlets.  

• Worked as an active team member for third party quality control audit for “Construction of Cement Concrete Roads in KBMC Area under OARDS of MMRDA, Phase-I” and “Quality Check of Cement Concrete Roads in KBMC Area Constructed under Maharashtra Suvran Jayanti Nagarotham Maha Abhiyan”. This work involved identifying various technical challenges faced by consultant and contractor so that the appropriate measures could be taken for improving the quality of construction.

• Worked as an active team member for “Causes of Failures in Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) Layer, Remedial Measures and Recommendations for NH-9, Chainage Km. 249+000 to Km. 348+800, Solapur to Maharashtra/Karnataka Boarder, Maharashtra”, for National Highway Authority of India. It involved identifying probable cause of failure through visual inspection, laboratory investigation on samples collected from different layers and final recommendation for addressing the failure.  

• Immensely contributed towards consultancy project titled “Overlay design for existing carriageway and new flexible Pavement Design for widening of SH-19 (Maharashtra)” Submitted to Public Work Department (PWD) Nasik, Maharashtra. 

• Immensely contributed towards 12th five year plan project titled “Development and application of technologies for sustainable transportation (Waste utilization for Road construction)” which was sponsored by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) India. This research work aimed at providing technological solution to utilization of waste product for road construction.

• Contributed immensely towards project titled “Embankment and pavement design of two lane bund road on the upstream side of Hindon river, Ghaziabad” sponsored by Irrigation construction division, Ghaziabad, Utter Pradesh.
